Do I Qualify?
In order to receive food assistance from Berlin Food Pantry, Inc. you must qualify under the following guidelines.
1. You must live in Berlin, Wisconsin or in one of the adjacent zip codes to 54923. Adjacent zip codes are: 54934, 54940, 54941, 54960, 54963, 54965, 54967, 54968, 54970, 54971, and 54986.
2. Wisconsin households are eligible to receive food assistance if the total gross income for the household does not exceed 200% of the federal poverty level. The table below sets the guidelines based on household size.
Income Eligibility - Beginning February 1, 2023
For households larger than 12 members, add $10,280 per person per year.
3. On the first visit bring the following.
• Photo ID
• Proof of address
• Documentation for each member of your household showing age or birthdate.
The following are forms of acceptable documentation:
Wisconsin immunization registry records, report cards, birth or baptismal certificates, passports, medical insurance, library cards, driver’s licenses, state/military/tribal IDs, or first-class mail postmarked within the past 30 days.
